The Cottars support page
“The Cottars from Cape Breton are so good and so young that they seem both a miracle and a pure jubilation!” The Boston Herald
The Cottars are, by many accounts, the hottest Celtic band to arise out of the rich musical landscape of Cape Breton in recent years. They play fiddle, keyboards, whistles, Irish flute, bouzouki, guitars, and bodhráns, and they stepdance—all with an authority beyond their years. They also sing haunting Gaelic ballads, and harmonize with a sweetness that brings a tear to the eye.
The Cottars are: Ciarán & Fiona MacGillivary, Bruce Timmons & Claire Pettit
The Cottars will be touring in March 2011. (1st Tour) - <their website>

The Good Lovelies support Page
The Good Lovelies are not your run-of-the-mill "all girl" band. At a time when too many of us are affected by gloom, doom and recovering from recession these three women are the perfect antidote. Recent winners of the 2010 Juno for Roots Album of the Year and of the 2009 New Emerging Artist Award from the Canadian Folk Music Awards- the Good Lovelies are making waves across Canada. The aptly named Good Lovelies are Caroline Brooks, Kerri Ough and Sue Passmore, all of them best friends and refugees from solo careers. Described as folk-roots and western swing, the Toronto-based trio rely on unerring three-part vocal harmonies, clever songs and, onstage, convulsively funny repartee.
The Good Lovelies are: Caroline Brooks, Kerri Ough & Sue Passmore.
The Good Lovelies will be touring April 2011. (1st Tour) - their website

The Laws
"The Laws put on the Freewheelin Concert of the year! The audience was begging for more even after 2 encores! What a musical treat to hear such fine harmonies, great pickin' and husband and wife banter that leaves you smiling, laughing, toe-tapping from beginning to end. These guys are not to be missed! One of Canada's Top Acts for sure!!!

April Verch
When you see April Verch perform, the first thing that strikes you is the pure energy that infuses her fiddle playing and stepdancing.
When you listen to her though, what draws you in are more subtle
things—her pure voice, the finely detailed elegance of her fiddle phrasing and the depth of a repertoire that ranges through material from bluegrass to Brazilian to Celtic, from a jaunty Canadian folksong to a poignant contemporary ballad. April is world-class fiddler, a champion Ottawa Valley stepdancer, an acclaimed composer, and a vocalist whose voice has been hailed as “absolutely captivating”
The Toronto Star.
April will be touring in March/April 2012 (2nd Tour) April's Website
